"In a quiet town by the sparkling sea,
The New Year crept in silently."
"Young Ellie sat by the fire so warm,
Safe from the cold and the winter storm."
"Her grandpa sat in his old oak chair,
His stories danced in the frosty air."
"The New Year comes with a wish for all,
Big or tiny, no wish too small."
"Ellie thought hard, her mind a race,
What would she wish in this magical space?"
“I wish,” she said, as her voice grew still,
“For joy and kindness, and hearts to fill.”
"The wind outside began to swirl,
Twisting and twining in a silvery whirl."
"The storm subsided, the room grew calm,
The air was scented with winter’s balm."
"For every heart that holds goodwill,
Will see their dreams begin to thrill.”
"When morning came, the town was bright,
With children laughing, hearts alight."
"Ellie smiled, for she somehow knew,
Her midnight wish had just come true."
"The New Year listens, the stars will glow,
And magic will follow wherever you go."
